I'm tired of winter. I want longer days. I want to be able to run outside without a coat and feel the warm sun. I want green and growing things and the smell of wet earth.
Instead of which, it's cold again, and sleeting. It's also Lent, which for me means no longer making excuses and facing the dark and the dry quiet in my soul.
Which maybe is part of the point of Lent, anyway -- waiting in the quiet.
Everything has its wonders, even darkness and silence, and I learn, whatever state I may be in, therein to be content. -- Helen Keller

It's 43 here. Was in the mid 5-s most of the weekend.
Oh, wait. Is this helping?
Yeah -- no. Try again.
